Councilmember Esther Kia‘āina -- Our city councilmember. You can contact her directly about concerns. She often attends the neighborhood board meetings as well.

DPR — Department of Parks and Recreation — Includes management of Kailua beach park. Many of our parks also serve as important drainage and flood control for our neighborhoods.
DFM — Department of Facilities Maintenance — Clean up of streams and roadways. Includes the Stormwater Quality Division.
ENV — Department of Environmental Services — Waste and wasterwater
Mayor Rick Blangiardi -- In charge of all core city services on Oahu. A representative often attends neighborhood board meetings.
DLNR — Department of Land and Nature Resources — Learn about all the different divisions and their kuleana on their website or by watching these informational videos.
Board of Water Supply — Water quality, conservation, and resources. In particular, read the Watershed Management Plan which is a long-term evaluation of resources.
Hawaii State Department of Health — Includes the Clean Water Branch, Safe Drinking Water Branch, and Wastewater Branch
Water Quality Advisories: Sign up to receive notifications when a beach advisory, beach notification, brown water advisory, sewage spill or permit exceedance is issued, or any water quality advisory is canceled.
